Primary Care That’s
Not One Size Fits All.

Primary Care

Primary care is day-to-day healthcare. From a checkup for a cold, PrEP to hormone therapy, HIV care to STI testing, we’re here for you!  We act as your first point of contact and coordinate other specialist care that you may need through our referral process. Prism Health is staffed with providers who specialize in compassionate, high-quality primary care for LGBTQ+ individuals.

You don’t have to be LGBTQ+ to receive services at Prism Health. We are an encouraging and welcoming practice, and we’re excited to provide services to anyone, regardless of orientation or identity.

Trans Folx

Prism Health provides primary care for trans folx in the safe, friendly, and culturally responsive atmosphere. We offer patient-directed care for a variety of primary needs including hormone therapy, education, and management; trans-sensitive pap smears, pelvic exams, and prostate exams; chest health; STI screening; and Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) therapy.

Lesbian + Bisexual Women

Lesbian and bisexual women encounter barriers to health care that include concerns about confidentiality and disclosure, and discriminatory attitudes and treatment. Comprehensive care, including prevention of cardiovascular disease, cancer, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), is recommended for lesbian and bisexual patients. Prism Health is here to provide that care.

Gay + Bisexual Men

All men, including gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men, need to know how to protect their health throughout their life. For all men, heart disease and cancer are the leading causes of death. At Prism Health, our care providers will work with you to ensure that you are receiving the best care tailored to your life. As part of your regular primary care, Prism Health can provide comprehensive HIV and STI screening as well as access to PrEP.

Queer

Sometime medical care is far too binary and doesn’t take into account our individual identities. We will discuss the health issues that affect you most through comprehensive and compassionate primary care services by qualified, culturally affirming staff. Our care is tailored to you. We will take the time to talk to you about your unique healthcare needs as a queer person to ensure that they are addressed at each and every step of the way.
