Pivot is now located at Prism Health.
Pivot is dedicated to providing free HIV and STI screenings to the LGBTQ+ community on a walk-in basis. Prism Health provides comprehensive on-site testing for HIV and other STIs through either your primary care visit or our Pivot services.
Importance Service Notice:
For the past several years, Multnomah County Health Department has supported our “Just Checking” for HIV/STI screening. Due to budget cuts at Multnomah County, this partnership ended on July 1. Pivot is now providing these services in partnership with Prism Health.
Unfortunately, our current capacity for offering these services is limited. As a result, we were required to make some adjustments to the scope of services we are able to provide:
- As we actively work to increase our staff capacity and familiarity with new systems, we will have reduced client capacity on Tuesdays over the next few months.
- Pivot will no longer be able to provide treatment during Pivot “Just Checking” hours. We hope to return to this in-house capacity in the future. The Multnomah County STD Clinic on 4th & Stark (6th floor) and Prism Health (2236 SE Belmont, where Pivot is co-located) are both options for your treatment needs. Ask your tester or the reception staff if you have any questions about treatment or making an appointment.
We want to thank you all, the community, in advance for your support as we look to grow our commitment to providing low barrier HIV/STI services to the LGBTQ+ community.
We continue to offer HIV/STI testing at Pivot throughout the week. Hours for these services are:
Just Checking: HIV/Syphilis/Chlamydia/Gonorrhea testing only
Please note check in begins at 4:30 and is on a first come first serve basis
