HIV & STI Testing

Effective 3/17/20: Due to the urgency in curbing the spread of COVID-19, onsite prevention services are suspended at all CAP social service locations in NW Portland as well as Vancouver and Longview, Washington. An update on the timing of reopening these services will be provided on or before April 10th.  All HIV/STI testing services are suspended during this period. If you are in need of STD treatment please contact your primary care provider, county health department or call Pivot at 971 279 7033 for support around accessing care.

Pivot is now located at Prism Health.

Pivot is dedicated to providing free HIV and STI screenings to the LGBTQ+ community on a walk-in basis. Prism Health provides comprehensive on-site testing for HIV and other STIs through either your primary care visit or our Pivot services.

Just Checking: HIV/Syphilis/Chlamydia/Gonorrhea Testing 

Full panel STI testing is now available whenever Pivot is open.

Tuesday: 5:00pm–8:30pm  Please note check-in begins at 3:00 and is on a first come first serve basis.

Wednesday: 1:00pm–4:00pm  Please note check-in begins at 12:00 and is on a first come first serve basis. 

Thursday & Saturday: 2:00pm–7:00pm – Please note check-in begins at 2:00 and is on a first come first serve basis. 

Pivot is not able to provide treatment during testing hours.

The Multnomah County STD Clinic at 619 NW 6th Ave (2nd floor) and Prism Health (2236 SE Belmont, where Pivot is co-located) are both options for your treatment needs. Ask your tester or the reception staff if you have any questions about treatment or making an appointment.
